Booking Terms and Conditions
**Terms and Conditions for Tickets: Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival Events**
These Terms and Conditions Apply to Tickets Booked through the Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival website and not to tickets booked through third party websites or where the community event organiser is managing their own bookings.
- **Ticket Availability**
– Tickets for Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival are free.
– Free tickets are issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
- **Ticket Validity**
– Each ticket is valid for the specified event, date, and time only. Tickets cannot be exchanged for other events.
– Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be sold or bartered.
– If you can no longer attend an event, you’ve booked a ticket for, please return your ticket so someone else can attend.
- **Entry Requirements**
– A valid ticket (printed or digital) must be presented for entry to the event.
– Latecomers may be refused entry at the discretion of the event organiser.
- **Cancellation and Changes**
– The organiser reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events without prior notice.
– If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, the organiser will make reasonable efforts to notify ticket holders. In such cases, no compensation will be provided as tickets are free of charge.
5. **Health & Safety**
– Attendees must comply with all health and safety guidelines provided by the event organiser, including any COVID-19 safety measures.
– The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or ask attendees to leave if they fail to adhere to these guidelines.
- **Liability**
– Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage sustained at the event. Glasgow Building Preservation Trust holds public liability and event insurance and external venue and community event organisers will also hold public liability insurance as set out in participation terms and conditions.
– Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings during the event.
- **Age Restrictions**
– Some events may have age restrictions, which will be specified on the ticketing page. Attendees must comply with these restrictions.
- **Photography and Recording**
– The event may be photographed or recorded for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of your likeness in any future promotional materials.
– Personal photography is allowed unless specified otherwise by the event organiser.
- **Behaviour**
– Disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the event. No compensation or alternative tickets will be offered in such cases.
- **Changes to Terms and Conditions**
– The event organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated via the official event website.
- **GDPR and Data Protection**
– In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), any personal data collected during the ticketing process (e.g., name, email address) will be processed and stored securely by the event organiser and only used for the purposes of managing your attendance at the event and related communications. This will be shared with the event organiser to manage your attendance.
– If you wish to keep in touch with an event organiser after the event, please ask them about their marketing and mailing list options. They should not use your data without your consent.
– Your personal data will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
– You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting the event organiser at info@gbpt.org
– By obtaining a ticket, you consent to the processing of your personal data as outlined in these terms.
