Craft-beer lovers this is the tour for you. Female-led Hidden Lane Brewery is Finnieston’s first ever brewery and Glasgow’s only organic craft brewery. Established in Autumn 2019, nestled inside Finnieston’s Hidden Lane, this unique brewery occupies a traditional building, built circa 1890 which was originally a stables, housing horses for a funeral director company. You’ll find it alongside an eclectic community of local independent artists and craftspeople located just off Argyle Street in Glasgow’s West End and plenty of bars within the local area stocking the beers. Sustainable in their practices, tying in with this year’s theme, Hidden Lane Brewery will open its doors to the public for two days during the festival. The bookable one-hour mini-tours will offer an insight into the small-batch brewing process, the efforts made as a sustainable business in our current climate. This will make for a great day out as there are plenty of places of interest in the surrounding area, including Kelvingrove park and many local bars and eateries.
Finnieston’s first ever brewery and Glasgow’s only organic craft brewery. This female-owned beer brand is fully organic and vegan, practicing sustainable efforts- recycling and reusing everything as much as possible, including water, spent grain for animals, renewable energy, glass growlers and never plastic kegs. Caring for the environment is at the heart of Hidden Lane Brewery’s values.
