Queen’s Park Govanhill Church is a place used for worship, Bible study, and gathering for prayer. Our building is used by many different groups on a regular basis, such as a weekly food bank and a free meal every Sunday for those who need it.
Our Sanctuary is on the upper level. The North Wall holds a stencil design created by Daniel Cottier, who was a contemporary of Alexander Greek Thomson, the notable Scottish architect, done in the colours which were most in favour in Victorian times.
The vestibule has two stained-glass windows, by Douglas Hamilton, made as memorial to Jane Haining, matron in the Jewish Mission School in Budapest, and a member of the church in the 1930s. She protected the girls of the school, which led to her being arrested by the Gestapo and sent to Auschwitz, where she died in 1944.

We are part of the Church of Scotland, offering a place of gathering for various other groups. We aim to welcome all who come, trying as we can to remind people of the Gospel Story.
We’re the result of the amalgamation of several local churches, having very recently united with the John Ross Memorial Church for the Deaf, who use one of our halls for worship.

Fine late-Renaissance style church, with a 150-ft campanile, domed crossing and ornate marble-lined interior and painted ceiling.. Wonderfully restored. Now is the time to visit this beautiful gem.
The Revelator is Scotland’s only fully functioning Wall of Death, Clydebuilt with love by a group of dedicated volunteers. Handmade mainly out of recycled wood and wholly funded by public donations.
