SaltSpace Art gallery

270 High Street, Glasgow
G4 0QT

The distinctive turquoise shop front of SaltSpace Gallery is housed among the b-listed 4 story, renaissance style, red sandstone tenements that curve up the east side of the High Street; designed by Burrnet, Boston and Carruthers in 1903 and flanked by the original historic shop fronts with inverted canted doorways. In the gallery, you’ll find exhibitions from exciting new artists and graduates, along with artists in residence creating new work. SaltSpace is an artist cooperative founded in 2019 by graduates of the Glasgow School of Art, with 3 venues across the High Street and Saltmarket.
