The Axiom Building is a red brick building and was built between 1951-54 replacing smaller buildings such as a cooperage and a mill. It was formally used as a whisky warehouse and now is used for a variety of businesses such as yoga, pottery and our gallery, studios and workshop space. In the gallery, you’ll find exhibitions from exciting new artists and graduates, along with artists in residence creating new work. In our studios, you will see artists creating new works and be able to chat with them about their creative process. SaltSpace is an artist cooperative founded in 2019 by graduates of the Glasgow School of Art, with two venues across the Washington Street and Dornoch Street.
Opening times:
Friday: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
No Booking Required
