Ottoman Coffeehouse
This listed building is in the heart of Glasgow’s West End on 73 Berkeley Street. It was purchased by the Glasgow Society of Musicians in 1905 for £805 and improved to the cost of £2213 – including the addition of the Concert Room. Since then, it has spent many years as the hub of the Jazz Festival. Since the Ottoman Coffeehouse took over the building in 2015, the Concert Room has become the main lounge for coffee lovers to meet and congregate. The building is part of Glasgow’s history and heritage, we have restored the original features, and the Ottoman Coffeehouse has managed to capture the building’s old-world atmosphere while incorporating a relaxing coffeehouse. Be part of the many leading music makers and personalities who have enjoyed the atmosphere at this former club. Pop in for some coffee with a wee bit of Glasgow culture.

EXIT is a fully operating DIY, independent and artist run club and arts space which was opened in September 2023. The building on Maxwell St was once home to Fury Murry’s in the late 80s and 90s, and then repurposed into a strip club. The space has a lot of character, with the majority of the strip club interiors remaining largely intact. EXIT has a strong DIY ethos, platforming and growing the local scene and creative community here in Glasgow.
