The Coach House
Take a stroll along the Victorian cobbles of Belmont Lane where, nestled at its end, you will discover The Coach House Trust. The building dates from the mid 1850’s at which time it was a working stable and coach house servicing the residents of Hamilton Drive within the new suburb of Kelvinbridge. Fast forward to when following the dilapidations of a century the building was restored and opened for the benefit of the people of Glasgow. Promoting social justice by supporting people with enduring mental health issues who suffer from isolation and loneliness, the coach house is now a thriving hub of activity. By encouraging people to realise their skills The Coach House Trust helps them to gain confidence for their full social and civic participation. Through the provision of group-based learning opportunities in gardening, art, IT and music the 21st Century is witness to integration through participation as the new purpose of the coach house building. In the coach house today, opportunities act as a conduit for fostering friendships and where social justice can be realised by enabling people suffering isolation to be included and valued. A warm welcome awaits you.

EXIT is a fully operating DIY, independent and artist run club and arts space which was opened in September 2023. The building on Maxwell St was once home to Fury Murry’s in the late 80s and 90s, and then repurposed into a strip club. The space has a lot of character, with the majority of the strip club interiors remaining largely intact. EXIT has a strong DIY ethos, platforming and growing the local scene and creative community here in Glasgow.
