LEZ Funding Announcement

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve received funding from Glasgow City Council’s Low Emission Zone Community Support Fund to help encourage and support more festivalgoers to cycle and wheel between our venues this year. We are eager to see the tangible impact this funding will have on helping raise awareness of the improved cycling/wheeling infrastructure within Glasgow and support sustainability efforts driven by festival visitors and audiences.
Our partners Bike for Good will be offering free drop-in bike maintenance help to festivalgoers at our Festival Hub at the ARC (Glasgow University). The Festival Hub will also be home to a new co-curated exhibition by our partners Glasgow Disability Alliance which will share the experiences of disabled Glaswegians as they navigate the city.
Our vision for a more inclusive and accessible festival supports Glasgow City Council’s ambition to make Glasgow a Net Carbon Zero, climate resilient and healthier city.
The LEZ Community Support Fund provides grants to community-led projects focused on environmental improvements that reduce air pollution and climate change emissions.
