Come and join us on this journey back in time and find out about the dramatic story of Springburn’s rise and fall as an industrial powerhouse and locomotive manufacturer to the world. Led by Paul Sweeney MSP, who is chair of Springburn Winter Gardens Trust, you will find out things you didn’t know about the city, all through the lens of the magnificent Winter Gardens and its location, Springburn Park.

The Trust is working with numerous partners to bring the Winter Gardens back to life, and you will find out more about future plans on this tour.

With so much to take in you’re bound to get hungry, so we will be offering complimentary snacks.

Springburn Winter Gardens Trust was established in 2013 in response to the general decline of Springburn’s built heritage environment. The Trust’s key focus is to keep the structure of this A listed gem secure whilst planning for its future as a major new resource for the community and wider area.
