Queens Park Camera Club

Queens Park Camera Club
Queens Park Camera will be 80 years old in 2025! Come and see what happens behind those old doors, which will be thrown open to you, for Glasgow Doors Open Day. You will be able to buy some of the prints our members have produced over the past years and to look at the winning prints over the past few years. You can view a video of the best images taken in the past year. You can also find out about the use of the club space such as lectures for members on all aspects of photography every Thursday night in the winter. It has studio facilities with professional lighting for members use and a monthly mentored session with a photographic model. There are numerous monthly specialist sessions on topics such as image editing, image review, printing and how to get the most from your camera. There are sessions where members can discuss photographic themes. This year we hope to run a project photographing some of Glasgows endangered buildings. Some of our members will be there to chat to you about what we do and try to answer any questions you have over refreshments. There will be tea/ coffee and excellent home made cakes for a small fee.
