The Technology & Innovation Centre opened its door in 2015 to new areas of research, innovation and technology development, all aimed at creating new possibilities, new levels of dynamic collaborations and productive outcomes. Together, we work on solutions to challenges in enabling technologies and the low carbon economy. Working together this fabulous facility, located in the heart of Glasgow City Innovation District is a hub for entrepreneurship, innovation and collaboration, accelerates how researchers in academia and industry collaborate and innovate within a specifically designed, state-of-the-art building. Our teams include researchers, engineers and project managers from academia and industry. They work side-by-side on projects including advanced manufacturing & materials, health & wellbeing, innovation & entrepreneurship, measurement science & enabling technologies and ocean, air & space. Developed with industry for industry, the Technology & Innovation Centre has already attracted many major cross-sectorial industrial companies. By working together, the benefits are immense.
