From cutting-edge engineering to arts and humanities, discover the inspiring research happening on your doorstep, with family-friendly activities and exhibits as part of the Scotland-wide “Explorathon” festival, in partnership with Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival. In addition to our table-top activities inside the building, the fun will continue outside in St Mungo Square . . . Saturday: – Skateboard and BMX tasters with The Loading Bay (age 6+) – Giant Chess with Topple the King Sunday: – Bubble clowns – Mextli Mexican Folk Dance – Giant Chess with Topple the King We’re also delighted to welcome performances from the ‘Salonorchester’ on Saturday and the Tron Choir on Sunday.
