The Carmunnock Heritage Society
Immerse yourself in a whole historic village experience in Glasgow’s Last Village, Carmunnock. Walk through the streets of the village and get a real sense of how villagers lived their lives through the centuries in this special little place, situated on the Southside of the City. Walk the 16 stop video Heritage Trail (1-2 hours), visit our historic buildings, stop for refreshments or simply enjoy the atmosphere of strolling around this beautiful corner of our City. You never know, you may even grab a glimpse of the odd visitor from the past, if you look hard enough…..you never know! Our buildings will be open for you to enjoy, some with full historic guided tours, others giving you a sense of their purpose in village life, with old school games to play or archive footage of Carmunnock Village through the years.
