Young Migrant Podcast launch & Human Library

Безымянный-3
A group of young European Glaswegians has launched a podcast sharing personal stories of change, identity and migration. Some of them moved to Scotland in their childhood, some came more recently due to conflict or to study and work. What major transitions have they faced since settling here? Does Scotland now feel like home? Join us to listen to the podcast and for an informal Q&A with young people. The podcast was created by the School of Geographical and Earth Sciences at the University of Glasgow as part of the Migyouth project. The event is organised by Migrant Voice, a migrant-led national organisation advocating for justice and amplifying migrant voices.

ORGANISATION
Organised by: Migrant Voice
Migrant Voice is a migrant-led national organisation building a community of migrant voices to speak for ourselves and call for justice for all. From our regional hubs in London, Birmingham, and Glasgow, we facilitate spaces for community discussion, run campaigns, deliver training, host arts events, and tell our own stories in our own way. We aim to transform the debate around migration, campaign to protect migrants’ rights, and challenge racism, xenophobia and discrimination.
