SKETCHES Film Project is a series of short dance duets choreographed by Katie Armstrong in collaboration with film maker Stuart Breadner. SKETCHES Film project captures these fast intricate duets in iconic locations across Govnahill and Pollokshields. This set of films was created for Tramway, commissioned by The Work Room for ‘Moving Out’ in 2019. Since then, SKETCHES Film Project has toured Scotland, capturing the duets in 21 iconic locations across the country, chosen by people local to each region.
The film will be available to view in the Festival Hub at The Advanced Research Centre on a loop, from 10am each morning.

Katie Armstrong is a choreographer, teacher and dance artist based in Glasgow. Katie has been choreographing works over the past 9 years with an interest in creating intellectually and geographically accessible works for audiences across Scotland and beyond.
