Storytelling is important to understanding architecture and our city; it provides an informal discourse between the past, present and future of the built environment we live in. For this year’s Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival, New Glasgow Society presents the 2023 edition of ‘Building Stories; a storytelling project about Glasgow’s derelict buildings.’
The guided tour will bring the stories exhibited onto the streets; we will tour around derelict buildings with untold stories submitted by the public. Through this project we hope to raise awareness of the perilous state of our historic architecture and start a conversation about preserving and improving our built environment.
Saturday: 1:00 pm
