National Trust for scotland
Established in 1931, the National Trust for Scotland is Scotland’s largest conservation charity and cares for, shares and speaks up for Scotland’s magnificent heritage. Over the last 94 years the Trust has pioneered public access to and shared ownership of some of the most magnificent buildings, collections and landscapes in Scotland. It cares for more than 100 sites, from ancient houses to battlefields, castles, mills, gardens, coastlines, islands, mountain ranges, landscapes and the plants and animals which depend upon them. As Scotland’s largest membership organisation, the Trust relies on the support of its members and donors to carry out its important work.
Mackintosh Illuminated is the National Trust for Scotland’s project to spotlight Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Margaret Macdonald, sharing, celebrating and inspiring as many as possible with their genius and the beauty of their creations. The Trust has been awarded £1.1 million development support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund for the project, which will help make Mackintosh and Macdonald better known and appreciated, internationally and at home, by creating an online learning resource and an expanded programme of property-based community and education work in Helensburgh and Glasgow. This project will also will also enable the Trust to continue and complete vital conservation work at the Hill House in Helensburgh.

Narro Associates
Narro Associates is an employee-owned Consulting Structural & Civil Engineering practice with offices in Scotland, North East England, and London. Collective Architecture
At Collective Architecture we have been working for over 25 years within various sectors including housing, civic and culture projects, community facilities, learning and enterprise buildings, conservation/retrofit work and strategic planning. John Gilbert Architects is a Glasgow-based conservation and retrofit practice with over 30 years of experience in breathing new life into old buildings.
