Continuing the weekly heritage walks around Central Glasgow. Starting at St Enoch’s subway/bottom of Buchanan St, we walk around the Merchant City , recounting tales of their existence, slavery connections and beautiful mansion houses that still remain. An unbiased historical look at everything from Paddy’s market, King st, Hutchesons Hall, Glassford and Ingram Streets , ramshorn Kirk etc. Also look at wall murals and other buildings of note along the way-Briggait, Glasgow’s oldest pub, Glasgow’s first bank, St Andrews in the Square, Italian Centre, Blackfriars etc. Average strolling pace, with time to stop , see and learn some more about your great city
