Outer Spaces is a charity collaborating with artists, art collectives, organisations, and commercial property owners, to occupy and activate the nation’s empty commercial spaces. A wonderful opportunity to see how a former office building in the centre of Glasgow has been transformed into a vibrant artists’ studio. Come and visit a busy, thriving community center in the city center of Glasgow. We run events for everyone in the community, providing a place for conversation, fun, friendship and support. This includes dance, wellness classes, community meals, art club and much more! You will be shown around the center by members of staff who will describe what happens on a weekly basis - there may be something that appeals to you! They will also reveal some history and our plans for the future.
An opportunity for you to step back in time to the 1960s to explore the history of one of Glasgow’s most celebrated pubs and to learn why its interior is of “outstanding historic interest”.
Listen Gallery is located on Hunter street within a grade listed building. We have built a reputation as a space celebrating multiculturalism within the arts.
This is a great chance to have a rare look at some of Alan’s archive and speak to him about some of the stories behind some of the photos.
