Ghost Signs of Glasgow are excited to announce the digital launch of our new Southside map with carefully selected Ghost Signs, enabling you to discover hidden stories of Glasgow’s Southside.
This map is now available to download and print for free, allowing you to go on a self-guided tour of Ghost Signs in Glasgow’s Southside in your own time, at your own pace. The map has a number of carefully selected Ghost Signs, complete with historical information, photographs and a carefully designed map detailing the locations of the signs.
You can download this map and explore the area to see some of the ghost signs and see if you can be a ghost sign buster and spot anymore yourself. If you do spot any, don’t forget to get in contact with us and let us know!
Ghost Signs of Glasgow is a project which documents, researches and archives fast disappearing faded signs around the city. This is a project made possible through grant-aided assistance from the Glasgow City Heritage Trust since Ghost Signs are a vital aspect of Glasgow’s built heritage.
The project works in collaboration with Glasgow’s local communities who often connect with the project through social media.

This sustainability-themed exhibition showcases photos taken by 37 local residents, capturing Glasgow’s through an environmental and community lens.
