The “Work-Ordered Day” is the structured routine tasks available daily that help us at Flourish House use and gain abilities in a supportive environment.
The Hidden Gardens is a beautiful outdoor space, developed in 2003 on the site of the former Coplawhill Tramworks in Pollokshields. We would love you to join us as volunteers guide us through the history of Copelawhill Tramworks and the design and evolution of The Hidden Gardens into the inspirational and accessible greenspace that exists today – a garden rich in art and design bringing together people from all backgrounds to create a sense of community. Head Gardener Paula Murdoch will demonstrate how The Hidden Gardens provides a sustainable and nurturing environment for wildlife as well as providing a calm and relaxing sanctuary for visitors away from the busy city streets, and Scott Shanks from RSPB will offer plenty of inspiring ideas for improving biodiversity in urban environments.
The Hidden Gardens is a beautiful public oasis located in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow.
It is an urban greenspace where you can relax away from the busy city streets, discover nature, get creative and connect with friends and neighbours.
We work to promote community integration and intercultural dialogue, and to build trust and understanding between people of all cultures, faiths and backgrounds through horticulture, nature, creativity and collaboration.
