Flemington House

Flemington House
This is an opportunity to visit Flemington House which is a Category A Listed building of historical importance, built in 1908. James Miller FRSE FRIBA FRIAS RSA (1860-1947) was Scotland’s most prolific Architect. During his long career he designed numerous banks, commercial buildings and churches in Glasgow. 110 Flemington Street was purpose built as the administration building and drawing offices for the North British Locomotive Company. The building has a highly impressive entrance hall with a grand staircase and details Russian marble, carved oak detailing, ornate plasterwork, stained glass and various wooden panelled rooms. The building itself was designed around a central courtyard which you can walk around. By visiting Flemington House, you can talk to us about our plans to convert the building to a 410 bedroom student accommodation which would have amenities that the public can access i.e cafe. Our intention is to reinstate this beautiful building and invest in the local area which will assist local businesses and contribute towards a thriving, vibrant Springburn district. On entering, please wait in the foyer. Someone will be there to welcome you.
