The Lighthouse
The Lighthouse will be a key venue during Sonica 2024, an audio-visual art festival organised by Cryptic running from 19th – 29th September. There will be art installations and talks taking place at the venue which are free of charge and open to the public. Please visit the Sonica website for more information on the art installations and talks programme. Formerly housing The Glasgow Herald, The Lighthouse was the first public commission completed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. This is a free to enter building for the Sonica Festival , there are no building tours and the tower is currently closed.

Come and visit a busy, thriving community center in the city center of Glasgow. We run events for everyone in the community, providing a place for conversation, fun, friendship and support. This includes dance, wellness classes, community meals, art club and much more! You will be shown around the center by members of staff who will describe what happens on a weekly basis - there may be something that appeals to you!
