The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice
This tour is a unique opportunity to explore the award-winning Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice. Completed in 2018 and designed by the internationally renowned Ryder Architecture, this £21 million award-winning and innovative space, puts patients and their families at the heart of the building. Inspired by the pioneering Scandinavian model of Sengetun, the Hospice building offers patients, and their families care in a place that looks and feels like home. You will get a behind-the-scenes look at how care is provided in this ground-breaking building and grounds. You will learn about the history of Glasgow’s Hospice, explore areas of the building you may not have seen before, and hear about how we care for patients and their families across the south of Glasgow and parts of East Renfrewshire and beyond. Our gardens will also be open to visitors. You can also visit the Bagracree Café, which is open to the public all year round to sample wonderful bistro-style food and drink, although booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. https://app.walkup.co/create_booking.
