We’d like to show you what makes Flourish House unique in our approach to Mental Health Recovery. We will show you how we use the building today to support recovery and enable everyone to reach their potential.
Flourish House is a mental health recovery community. Based on the International Clubhouse movement, we help people to build meaningful relationships through meaningful activity. As the only organisation of its kind in Scotland, we offer support to people with long term mental illnesses, enabling them to gain a sense of well-being and recover confidence.
Our short film will demonstrate the power of a key Clubhouse element, the Work Ordered Day. Flourish supports recovery by empowering our Members to undertake the essential tasks of running the Clubhouse day to day and also shaping the direction of the programme & activities offered. In doing so Members learn new skills, gain a sense of achievement build relationships by becoming active participants in the community.
