Explore a brief tour of the history of transport in Glasgow – from ferries to steamers, railways to the Finnieston Crane. We can’t cover everything in this tour but we thought we would pick out a few things on a route suitable for walking or cycling along and for physically distancing. We hope you enjoy – there is a lot of history on these routes and many are hidden away in plain sight!
Do you have a memory or know anything more about these routes? Please get in touch on cameron.reid@sustrans.org.uk as Doors Open Day Glasgow are looking for untold stories!

We are happy to share some of the routes we know about and hope you can find them useful as well – there is a lot of history on them and a lot is hi
