Stroll Through Time's West End of Glasgow Walking Tour
Stroll Through Time is a fun and informative 2 hour walking tour around the West End of Glasgow discovering its history, buildings and characters. Join me around the streets of this vibrant area to mark my first anniversary. We’ll start outside Hillhead Subway Station on bustling Byres Road, explore cobbled Ashton Lane, head up to the impressive Glasgow University before taking in beautiful Kelvingrove Park and finally strolling down fashionable Great Western Road finishing across from the Botanic Gardens. You’ll learn quirky facts about the Glasgow Subway, how the West End developed, the ‘Glasgow Gentry ‘, history of the University and its famous alumni as well as take in the area’s leafy surroundings.
