Look forward to a walk around the history of the Barras Market area and explore the fascinating charms, sounds and smells of an iconic area of Glasgow. After celebrating 100 years of the Barras Market during the pandemic lockdown come and explore the area and be guided by our local experts who will tell you stories and history of this special place. The tour will include the iconic Ballroom sign, the Barras markets the Old Clay Pipe Factory, Cobbled Lanes and St Alphonsus Church. See how the area has changed and how it is being transformed to bring it back to former glories in the near future. The walks will last 45 minutes.
