Situated in the heart of Union Street, our distinctive, purpose fitted Medical and Welfare Centre is opening its doors to the public during Glasgow Doors Open Days for the first time. Our charity’s centre is housed in one of only two surviving category B-listed Victorian, classical style warehouses designed by W. Lochhead in 1855, for the famous Wylie & Lochhead. The façade of our building boasts the original decorative modillion eaves cornice and columns exemplar of Glasgow’s rich architectural heritage.
Visitors will get an exclusive behind the scenes tour and have the opportunity to meet members of our dedicated volunteer teams. Hear about their inspiring experiences and how they have become steadfast support to both the local community and visitors alike. You’ll also see them in action too – perfect for this year’s ‘The Sensory City’ theme!
