The Ramshorn is a category A-listed building in the Merchant City, built between 1824-26, and designed by English architect Thomas Rickman in the Gothic Revival style.
SCILT and CISS will be opening our doors at GDODF to take you an a sensory journey and introduce you to the fascinating history of the former ‘Ramshorn Kirk’ and surrounding graveyard.
Visit our exhibition area where you will be able to look, listen, touch and taste. Book a guided tour and take a look behind the scenes at the recent renovation project. Learn more about some of the graveyard’s famous residents, and how their work shaped the lives of people in Glasgow and across the Atlantic.
Work created by young people in Scotland’s schools will feature throughout the exhibition, demonstrating the value of language learning and cultural understanding in our communities.
You will also be able to explore the graveyard by completing our digital trail. The trail was created by young people in Glasgow City schools and is available in 10 languages.

The Revelator is Scotland’s only fully functioning Wall of Death, Clydebuilt with love by a group of dedicated volunteers. Handmade mainly out of recycled wood and wholly funded by public donations.
