Visitors are always welcome at Britannia Panopticon Music Hall and if you haven’t visited before, now’s your chance to visit for free. We will be stimulating the senses with our fantastic display of artefacts and ephemera found in the building and costumes that you will be able to touch. We will be screening a collection of Lumiere film from 1896 complete with added audio effects to bring the sounds of the Victorian world to life. In addition Victorian treats will be available to taste. But nothing will prepare your senses for the overwhelming sights and smells of the world’s oldest surviving music hall.

The Friends of Britannia Panopticon Music Hall was established in 1999 to support the work of the campaign to raise awareness and bring back to life the world’s oldest surviving music hall. It has a board of six members, and members of the public are invited to subscribe annually to support its work. Fine late-Renaissance style church, with a 150-ft campanile, domed crossing and ornate marble-lined interior and painted ceiling.. Wonderfully restored. Now is the time to visit this beautiful gem.
The Revelator is Scotland’s only fully functioning Wall of Death, Clydebuilt with love by a group of dedicated volunteers. Handmade mainly out of recycled wood and wholly funded by public donations.
