Diocesan Centre for Scottish Episcopal Church
Glasgow’s Italian Centre marked the start of the regeneration of the Merchant City area. The façade at Cochrane Street looks out on to The City Chambers and Merchants House of Glasgow, and its location, setting and style was felt to be perfect to attract visitors to the Diocesan Centre from all over Glasgow and Galloway. It is a quiet haven in the heart of the city which also provides meeting space, and a library as well a refreshments servery for guests. The Centre combines a modern working environment but also houses artifacts from the Scottish Episcopalian Church’s history which many people would rarely see, and which will be on display.

Come and visit a busy, thriving community center in the city center of Glasgow. We run events for everyone in the community, providing a place for conversation, fun, friendship and support. This includes dance, wellness classes, community meals, art club and much more! You will be shown around the center by members of staff who will describe what happens on a weekly basis - there may be something that appeals to you! They will also reveal some history and our plans for the future.
An opportunity for you to step back in time to the 1960s to explore the history of one of Glasgow’s most celebrated pubs and to learn why its interior is of “outstanding historic interest”.
Listen Gallery is located on Hunter street within a grade listed building. We have built a reputation as a space celebrating multiculturalism within the arts.

EXIT is a fully operating DIY, independent and artist run club and arts space which was opened in September 2023. The building on Maxwell St was once home to Fury Murry’s in the late 80s and 90s, and then repurposed into a strip club. The space has a lot of character, with the majority of the strip club interiors remaining largely intact. EXIT has a strong DIY ethos, platforming and growing the local scene and creative community here in Glasgow.
