Kelvingrove Bandstand
2024 is the 100th anniversary of the construction of Kelvingrove Bandstand and Amphitheatre. Established in 1924, this open-air amphitheatre has been a vibrant hub for community gatherings, musical performances, and various cultural events for nearly a century. After a period of disrepair, a significant restoration project in 2014, led by Glasgow Building Preservation Trust, revitalized the bandstand, preserving its heritage while equipping it with modern amenities, securing its future for the 21st century. Today, Kelvingrove Bandstand stands as a testament to Glasgow’s rich cultural legacy, continuing to host a diverse array of performances and events. This venue is a must see for locals and visitors to the city. Come and celebrate Glasgow’s historic Kelvingrove Bandstand and Amphitheatre in its anniversary year. EXIT is a fully operating DIY, independent and artist run club and arts space which was opened in September 2023. The building on Maxwell St was once home to Fury Murry’s in the late 80s and 90s, and then repurposed into a strip club. The space has a lot of character, with the majority of the strip club interiors remaining largely intact. EXIT has a strong DIY ethos, platforming and growing the local scene and creative community here in Glasgow.
Be one of many who walked through the concert hall at the former Glasgow Musicians Society, a forgotten club established 1884, housing Ottoman Coffeehouse, refurbished back to its past magnificence.
The Revelator, Wall of Death : a Clydebuilt wooden, handcrafted circular structure, it is a community-built, and fully-functioning motorcycle wall of death and art space.

Sharmanka features an extensive collection of kinetic (moving) sculptures assembled from found objects, beautiful scrap and exquisitely hand carved characters.
The bell tower at St Mary's houses a magnificent ring of 10 bells, cast by bellfounders Taylor's of Loughborough, hung for full circle ringing. These bells are internationally well known and are the only set of ringable bells in Glasgow. They are also the second heavist set of 10 bells in Scotland.
