Holmwood House
Holmwood, located in the Southside of Glasgow, was masterfully designed by Alexander ‘Greek’ Thomson for James Couper, a paper magnate, and his wife in 1857–8. This architectural gem is widely recognised as Thomson’s most exceptional domestic creation, showcasing his incredible design legacy. This hidden South-side gem is all about art, architecture and design- creating the most perfect place for your Instagram feed! Restored by the National Trust for Scotland to Thomson’s original interior design schemes this is your one chance to visit the inside of one of his domestic buildings. Inside the house., there are tours, an imagination gallery, a cafe and a shop. Outside the grounds connect the house to the river Cart. All profits from our shop and cafe remain towards the conservation of Holmwood and the valuable work of the National Trust for Scotland. We would love it if you could visit and join one of our tours, where we will show you all the tricks that Thomson used and how to spot his designs all over the city as well as give you more insight on how the NTS recover his designs for generations to come.

EXIT is a fully operating DIY, independent and artist run club and arts space which was opened in September 2023. The building on Maxwell St was once home to Fury Murry’s in the late 80s and 90s, and then repurposed into a strip club. The space has a lot of character, with the majority of the strip club interiors remaining largely intact. EXIT has a strong DIY ethos, platforming and growing the local scene and creative community here in Glasgow.
Be one of many who walked through the concert hall at the former Glasgow Musicians Society, a forgotten club established 1884, housing Ottoman Coffeehouse, refurbished back to its past magnificence.
The Revelator, Wall of Death : a Clydebuilt wooden, handcrafted circular structure, it is a community-built, and fully-functioning motorcycle wall of death and art space.

Sharmanka features an extensive collection of kinetic (moving) sculptures assembled from found objects, beautiful scrap and exquisitely hand carved characters.
The bell tower at St Mary's houses a magnificent ring of 10 bells, cast by bellfounders Taylor's of Loughborough, hung for full circle ringing. These bells are internationally well known and are the only set of ringable bells in Glasgow. They are also the second heavist set of 10 bells in Scotland.
