Mackintosh Queen’s Cross

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
The Mackintosh Queen’s Cross is the only church designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh to be built. Magnificent stained glass and exceptional relief carving on wood and stonework are highlights of the interior, where light and space are used to dramatic effect. Mackintosh Queen’s Cross looks very much as it would have done in Mackintosh’s time – the magnificent stained glass blue heart window and exceptional relief carving on wood and stone are highlights of the interior. The building is a stunning venue for concerts, weddings and movie events.
